Looking into the future the Pelican feeding its young from a self-induced wound in its own
breast (as depicted, mysteriously, on the state flag of Louisiana) is accepted as an
appropriate symbol of both self-sacrifice and rebirth. Through his selfless efforts, man is
raised from the slavery of ignorance to the condition of freedom conferred by wisdom.
Given the current state of affairs in Louisiana, one hopes that the understanding of the Pelican
as a symbol shall point the way towards a new consciousness of ourselves as a whole, and lead us
to face our futures with strength, grace, wisdom and faith, to learn from our mistakes and carry
our successes and zest for living to future generations.
Editorial: U.S. Corporate Controlled Puppets Approve More Oil & Gas Drilling
As environmentalists and fishermans concerns grow over scientific data that shows the
"DEAD ZONE" in the Gulf of Mexicio is increasing. The U.S. Senate
has approved more offshore drilling setting up yet another potential environmental disaster in the gulf.
Well hell let's just open up more areas of the Gulf of Mexico to the good old boys, why not just destroy the Louisiana coast, let's do Florida, Alaska, and California while we're at it.
All we got to do is give Louisiana and their politicians some $money$ and sing
OIL & GAS MAMA.
Louisiana, the same state that
appropriates 13 million $dollars$ to destroy 286 acres of wetlands for a private PGA golf gourse. The same state that has had its wetlands gutted by 10,000 miles of oil & gas navigational channels, but then refuses to even consider a resolution in the 2006 Louisiana legislature session to study the Oil & Gas companies
responsibility for their 10,000 miles of destruction.
It is no wonder U.S. Senator Huey P. Long's campaign against Standard Oil, the Rockfellers and the House of Morgan got him assasinated.

puppet-mouthpiece is created to convince the public they the taxpayer should pay the tab--taking the focus off the oil & gas industries responsibility.
Look at what the politicians are doing in spite of scientific data that greenhouse gasses from oil & gas is heating up the planet. Well hell let's just burn up more fossil fuels and really heat things up. Let's have more oil wars in the middle east. Let's make more $money$ for Halliburton, Betchel, and the Bush crime family.
And on it goes. Where are we going, or are we there yet? Corporate Fascism? Complete control of our natural resources by the bankers, industrialists and corporations. Has George W. Bush comitted treason by aiding an oligarchy to take
complete control of our government and public media?
Is there a way to stop these terrorists-these enemies of our country from gutting the Constitution, from wasting our natural resources? Can we expose how Cheney and the Bush crime family not only
permitted 911, but were part of the planning and execution?
